This package should contain:
-Readme.txt
-SZAConfig.ini
-ShutZA.exe
B. Description
This Is a small program i had to program for a special 'client'
of mine some time ago. Its programmed so it can fully Remove
Zone Alarm 6.1.744.001 From a specified computer. Its uses
its own uninstall program in silent mode, and is being 'hooked'
so any security checks are removed. Tested succesfully on
windows XP SP2 In normal mode and also on a locked station.
C. Usage
Usage is fairly simple, by simpely executing ShutZA.exe the
program uninstalled if it is installed in the defualt
location and you are using an english version of windows.
if both of these are not the case you should first edit
the SZAConfig.ini file.
This file is devided in four lines, all lines must be present
for proper execution, also make sure all lines do not end with
a space...
First line:
Path to Zone Alarms Directory !! Watch the trailing slash!!
Second Line:
Name of Zone Alarms Uninstall Executable !! Must be ending on .exe !!
Third Line:
The text that is on the Button corresponding with the button on the
security check mentioned in the description. Basicly it should say
'yes' in the language of windows the target is using. Case sensitive!
Fourth Line:
The delay between actually launching the uninstall executable end
actually 'hooking' into it and 'press' the yes button, measured
in mili seconds, mostly default value is fine, on slower machines
it may be set higher.
After the config file is set correctly you can run the ShutZA.exe.
